Hi Families, I want to take a moment to shine a light on someone who means so much to our Little Explorers community: Ms. Dominique. She is truly a pillar of light in our school. Not only is she one of our incredible infant teachers, but she also supervises our entire infant team, making sure every teacher is properly trained, supported, and caring for our babies as if they were their own. She gives so much of herself every single day and never asks for anything in return. If you’ve ever watched her with the children, you know how deeply she loves with her whole heart. She is one of the most selfless people I have ever met, and our center is better because she is in it. It’s our turn now to show her what the Little Explorers community can do for someone who gives more than she will ever ask for. Ms. Dominique will be having surgery on Wednesday, September 30th, and we will share more updates with you after that day. As she prepares for recovery, we want to make sure she and her family are cared for in the same way she cares for all of us, the babies, the parents, and the staff. I can say personally that I don’t know what I would do without Ms. Dominique on my team. We’ve created a meal train to support her during her healing. If you’re able, please take a moment to add something; groceries, dinner, gift cards, anything that will help make her recovery a little easier and remind her how loved she is.
