Dining for Denise Alsum

W
Story

Hello! As most of you know, Denise had a major surgery on her foot on 06/04/2026. Surgery went well and she is well into her recovery journey, but she still has a long way to go! Denise will be at home , not able to work . for another month with an no weight bearing on the foot . She will then. move into another phase of the journey as she starts therapy for rehabilitation. Denise cannot put any weight on her foot, so it is difficult for her to make meals. Sophie is working full time outside of the home and it would be wonderful if we can take care of meals for the two of them , so Sophie is able to just heat things up. Sophie comes home at lunchtime to help with lunch and then gets dinner together after work at night . Please see section below for some recommendations on how to help.

Special Notes

There are a few ways there we can help out. This is a meal train page. 1. You can make a meal for the two of them and deliver it to their house . We will have a cooler by the front door for you to deliver and the. Sophie will move to fridge or freezer. They do have a freezer ! Frozen meals are great! 2. You can sign up to send a meal through DoorDash . We can connect you with Denise via text or the meal site and coordinate the order and delivery. 3. You can send gift cards for a meal at a certain restaurant or door dash and they can order food and have it delivered! Any contribution will help and Denise and Sophie will be so grateful!! We appreciate any donation to help with Denise's recovery journey! If you have any questions, you can send me a message or give me a call- Terrie Hubin 651-387-3235. Thank you for your consideration.
