Karing for Kodi is all about surrounding the Calkins family with love and support as they celebrate the birth of their beautiful daughter, Kodi. She was born with esophagus atresia and has already shown incredible strength through a successful surgery. While her recovery continues with a lengthy stay in the NICU, we want to make sure her family has one less thing to worry about. Providing meals is a simple but meaningful way to show them that they are not alone during this journey. Freezer meals would be especially helpful so they don’t get too much food at once and can have something ready for when they’re home, or even to bring with them for long days at the NICU. Right now, gift cards for gas, lunches, or snacks would also be a huge blessing as they’re spending so much time at the hospital.
