Although she has recovered from most of her injuries and made big progress, the break to Jessica's Femur (thigh bone) has failed to heal. She will undergo another major surgery to repair it on October 13th, and her family could use your help. Jessica will have a two night hospital stay, and 3-6 weeks of initial recovery time. She will have limited mobility, be mostly confined to one level of her home, and be unable to drive or participate in most family routines. With no family in the area, Jessica's husband, Tommy, will be shouldering all of the parenting and household duties while she recovers. Many friends and family have been asking how they can help, and Jessica and Tommy have determined that meals being provided is one of the best ways to support them. Taking meal planning, meal prep, and meal clean up responsibilities off of Tommy's plate for the first few weeks after Jessica's surgery will ease much of his burden. How Jessica got Injured: Jessica was involved in a serious car accident on January 31, 2025. She was hit head-on by another driver going nearly 75 MPH on her way home from work on HWY 79. Jessica faced a long hospitalization, internal and orthopedic injuries, rehab/PT, and learning to stand/walk again.
