Hello friends 😊 This fundraiser is for a family dealing with a medical recovery from eye surgery with complications. The complications led to my friend—who would never ask for but hopefully will accept help----being off work longer than anticipated which in turn led to a 35% reduction in salary because of the length of the recovery. The recovery was complicated by a particularly difficult move to a house that turned out to have a lot of undisclosed problems. My friend is currently dealing with an attorney to address some of these issues but in the meantime the bills aren't getting paid and groceries don’t buy themselves. My friend is expecting more than one refund/settlement which have been delayed for months with no clear timeline. They need help to stay afloat until the litigation and income situations resolve.
