We are coming together to support our wonderful colleague and friend, Cheri, as she takes some much-needed time to focus on her health and recovery. While she’s a powerhouse in the office, she needs a little extra help from her 'work family' right now as she navigates her journey back to full strength. Our goal is to keep her kitchen stocked for the next month so she can focus entirely on healing without the stress of meal prep. To best support her recovery, we are focusing on heart-healthy meals (such as lean proteins, whole grains, and plenty of fresh veggies). Whether it’s a nutritious home-cooked favorite or a healthy option from a local spot, sharing a dish is a small way we can show our collective love for everything she does. Heart-Healthy Inspiration Proteins: Grilled chicken, fish (salmon/cod), beans, or lentils. Sides: Roasted vegetables, quinoa, brown rice, or fresh salads. Tip: Try to keep salt/sodium to a minimum and use herbs or lemon for flavor instead!
