I will be having my split torn peroneus brevis tendon (one that connects the toes to above the knee; the tear is behind my left ankle) repaired. I probably tore it back in my high school soccer & volleyball days when I went all out diving for volleyball and soccer balls thankfully the last couple of decades it didn't slow me down. But now in my older years of hiking and walking I can barely walk barefoot at the beach without injuring myself, my balance is off and sometimes I am walking around drunk without being drunk, or walking like a senior citizen without the wisdom, years & discount. I should have had it repaired over a year ago but I've delayed it long enough it's now long overdue time. I can't keep on making excuses in taking care of myself. So I need your support. I need help getting kids mainly to and from places. Alara picked up from school and taken back home. I will be limited in my mobility for 4-6 weeks no weight bearing. Then a 2nd 4-6 weeks after that in a boot. I think the first 2 weeks will be the most difficult and where I'll be in the most amount of pain needing to stick to staying in bed resting. I'm a mom to 4 active kids and with a husband who is our sole income. He'll be at work majority of the time the kids still need to be taken places. Would you please consider helping if and where and when you can? Thanks!
If providing meals is the way to help, that'd be awesome too. That'd take a heavy burden off my husband's shoulders and the kids' but no nuts or kiwi please Alara is allergic. Nothing spicy or highly acidic either because has acid reflux as well. Thanks!
