Gayle loved spending time with family and friends during holidays and special occasions and certainly loved a good cookout! The entire family, since her parents and grandparents, made sure everyone was present for everything! She certainly carried on those traditions and instilled them in me and her grandchildren. She’s recently been placed on hospice from long term illnesses that have gone from bad to worse and the family are taking turns as her caregivers as she isn’t eligible for any other assistance. We would love for family, friends and just caring people to help alleviate some of that extra stuff like meal planning and things they might not even have considered until they’re necessary so that we are able to focus on her care. If anyone would want to reach out with assistance it would be so very helpful and absolutely grateful!!!
There are no dietary restrictions necessarily. She loves fruit and veggies (they would have to be cooked soft so that she is able to chew them as she can no longer wear her dentures, the same with any meats. It would have to be soft enough to chew. Otherwise, she’s a true foodie lol she just about likes most things). Portions should be limited to normal servings times two as it would only be for her personally and 1 caregiver at a time. There’s no need for excess amounts of anything.
