The Valente Family has been a part of all of our lives so seamlessly with their kind hearts and welcoming smiles. Their generosity extends out into the community (and to many a stray pup!). Now our dear Teresa will need to focus on her health. She is a spectacular mom to Leo and a loving partner to Nick. Thank you!!! ~KK A Note from Teresa: Dear Friends and Family, So for those of you I haven't shared with yet, here goes: I was recently diagnosed with early stage breast cancer and my treatment requires surgery on October 9th followed by a short stay in the hospital, a six week recovery period, and a secondary outpatient surgery in a few months. Our wonderful friend Kristina K has offered to organize a support effort for us, and so here we are! I want to reassure everyone that my survival outlook with this treatment is very good, so while it will be a struggle, I will live. Yay living! Your love and support during this time, in any way you feel moved to show it, is deeply appreciated. Please feel free to reach out to me during this time as well.
