At work, Bill is a legend too; at just 75 years old, he outworks and outperforms everyone around him. This year marks his 42nd anniversary with Grainger. Forty-two years—truly legendary. He’s a humble man with a strong work ethic that permeates every part of his life. Bill and Sharon need our support as Bill enters a challenging new chapter in his life. A few weeks ago, his health began to decline; he felt unwell, became easily fatigued, and refused to dismiss it as simply “old age.” Initially diagnosed with pneumonia, Bill was later hospitalized due to a partial lung collapse and fluid buildup. After draining the fluid and conducting further tests, the doctors discovered the unsettling news we all feared: cancer cells and masses in his lungs. Bill is currently resting at home and remains in good spirits as they wait for his biopsy to be scheduled.
