My mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to her spine. 12/28/25 she underwent a major spinal surgery to place metal rods and screws to help stabilize her spine where the cancer as weakened and broken the bones. This will hopefully help her risk of being paralyzed. She will find out details of her treatment plan in the coming weeks while she heals from this surgery. She needs to gain a lot of weight so I’d like to get her meals that not only will put weight on her but will make her enjoy eating again. Hospital food is so bland and I don’t see her gaining any weight while she’s there unless we all come together to help feed her.
