Bea's Love Fest 2024

PORTLAND, OR

W
Story

On Monday, May 22nd I snapped my fibula and crushed the lower portion of my tibia - ouch! How you might ask? Well... I was harness training the kittens (Leo & Stella) and everything was going great and they were bravely exploring our side yard. Suddenly a lawn care truck drove by and made BIG scary noises. Leo bolted and I instinctually went after him. He jumped from a retaining wall down to our driveway and in my state I thought I could also make it. Turns out jumping from a five foot retaining wall down onto a sloping concrete driveway isn't a good idea and *snap* broken ankle/lower leg. I'm feeling much much better and the docs sent me home with a solid pain mgmt plan and recovery plan for the next month. Ben is taking great care of me, and I am excited to have visitors! The visits are less about you spending money to cover a meal and more about spending quality time ✨💗✨

Special Notes

Nice things to do when you visit: Play with Leo & Stella; they are starved for attention! Assist Bea moving up / down stairs. Low key Kitchen tidy and/or spot vacuum. Puzzles, Card Games, Dominos, Great Conversation - anything to help with the boredom! Considerations: We prefer snacks over flowers. No food allergies. Kids welcome, please no dogs.
