On April 29, Marlenna received the devastating news of being diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma, a very rare form of cancer. Over the last month, Marlenna and her family have been navigating a whirlwind of doctor's appointments and consultations, trying to understand the extent of the cancer and the treatment options available. On June 6th, Marlenna will undergo a major surgery to remove the cancer and will spend the next few months in and out of the hospital. This surgery is a significant step in her treatment, but it's just the beginning of what will undoubtedly be a long and challenging road ahead. She will be monitored for the rest of her life because of this diagnosis. As she prepares for this intensive surgery and the journey beyond, we want to rally around her with love and support.
