In November our friend Kristi Stuckel suffered from an acute brain bleed that left her with severe headache and left sided weakness. Her sister, Susan, immediately rushed to her side and has remained an ever present support for Kristi and her two girls. Kristi has been moved to Frazier Rehab in Louisville and the girls are with Susan and Jim’s family in Finchville. She is making amazing strides and working hard everyday for her next steps (literally) and looking forward to discharge next week on the 17th! Kristi and the girls will remain with Susan’s family throughout the holidays to continue her recovery and rehabilitation. The goal of this page is to set up support for Kristi, her girls and for Susan and Jim as they all continue to navigate this recovery. The family is so grateful for all the support they have received. From Susan and Kristi: We are deeply grateful for every prayer, message, and act of love. Your support means more than we can express. As Kris-Miss Kristi to her congregation-would always say, "God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good." We know He is holding us close.
Providing 2-3 meals per week and/or DoorDash gift cards would be a huge help. There are no dietary restrictions. As recovery progresses, the goal of this page will continue to evolve. Currently we are focused on how to make the transition easiest for Susan and Jim while growing from a family of 4 to 7!
