On 1/1/24 at 5:18am heaven gained the most amazing Angel. John Smirniotis body fought as hard as it could but the surgery was just too much for him to recover. The ICU team did everything they could to try to get his heart and body to work together. They exhausted all resources and we thank them for that. They were all so kind and gentle. His wife Toni is now trying to navigate life without John. We have set up a meal train to help support her during this time. He was the sole provider for the household.
