Hello Friends! Betsie, our friend and neighbor, is having a full shoulder replacement on September 1, 2026. She will not be able to lift anything or move her arm/shoulder for 4 weeks. She will not be able to drive for 2 weeks. Betsie lives alone with her dog so she does not have anyone to help her prepare meals, run errands, pick up medications etc. I have set the meal calendar at two weeks for now. She needs our help to do some of the day to day things as well.
Betsie likes chicken and pork, salads, vegetables and especially apples. She does not eat beef, fish or seafood. When you deliver dinner you might include a few things for a breakfast or lunch as well. She usually eats a muffin with tea for breakfast ( nothing too sweet or sugary) and loves nuts and fruit for lunch(except peaches ). If you happened to be going to the grocery store, give her a call (619-549-0002) and see if she needs anything there or if you can pick up her medicine while you are out.
