On Wednesday, July 1st, 10-year-old Ashley Martinez Morales suffered a sudden and severe medical emergency due to an undiagnosed brain blood vessel condition. Following emergency brain surgery, Ashley is currently in stable condition at Cohen's Children's Medical Center. While she is not yet fully responding, she reacts to touch, voices, and the presence of those around her as she begins a long road to recovery.
