Dear friends and family, This is not easy for me to write, but sometimes life reminds us that asking for help is part of the journey. What started as posterior tendinitis has now become a torn tendon, and I’ll be having surgery on my foot and ankle December 8th. The doctors have told me I’ll need to be non-weight-bearing on my left foot for a month afterward. As many of you know, I’m the primary cook in our home. Cooking is how I show love and care for my family, and stepping away from that role — even temporarily — feels difficult. But during recovery, I won’t be able to prepare meals, and this is where I humbly ask for your support. I’m asking for two things: Prayers for a smooth surgery and healing. Help with meal planning and preparation for my family while I recover. I’ve always hesitated to ask for help, but so many of you have reminded me that you want to be there when I need it. This is that time. My family and I would be deeply grateful for any support you can offer — whether it’s dropping off a meal, helping organize a meal train, or simply keeping us in your thoughts. Thank you for walking with me through this season. Your kindness means more than words can say. With gratitude
No allergies / no restrictions. I will be open to any visitors and appreciate any help with the girls as I know this will be difficult for them since mommy can't play with them.
