On July 21st 2026, Zoe gave birth to her 3rd little boy at Loris hospital. She had a 36 hour long and very difficult delivery. Problem after problem but she pushed through it and delivered a healthy baby boy. Friday August 7th, Zoe began feeling sick. Headache, body aches, nausea, fever, vomiting. What we thought was just mastitis. By Sunday August 9th, Zoe knew something was wrong as she was only getting worse. She was dropped off at ER with her baby and within a few hours was admitted and sent to L&D. She had Endometritis (infection in uterus) along with a mass, Sepsis, and Mastitis. 4 days with her baby boy who was EBF stuck in the hospital hooked up to an IV given 4 different medications around the clock. Trying her best to heal while sleep deprived and doing all she can to care for baby while also trying to figure out care for her other two Leo (9) and Lincoln (8). After being released Wednesday and given a prescription for antibiotics we ended up back in the ER after taking her prescription she had horrible chest pains, shortness of breath and vomiting. They did some blood work and a CT and sent her back home even with the chest pain continuing. The next morning she woke up to 2 missed calls and another call she caught in time from the ER the OB who had been caring for her the past few days called in a panic when she saw results. Zoe had blood clots in her ovaries and fallopian tubes and blood work was showing her heart was in distress/possible heart failure. She was told to come back in immediately and she needed to be readmitted for evaluation for a few days. After going back in the doctor at the time in the ER said she didn't think that was necessary gave her a prescription for blood thinner shots and said to follow up with her OB. No other tests done, not even a worry about the chest pain she was still having. Zoe is still having a hard time trying to heal and definitely not feeling her best. I'm trying to get a few people together to help lighten her load with meals or money for groceries. She planned to be back baking this week but not being able to stand for long hours because of clots has made that impossible for now which just puts her farther behind on everything. We would greatly appreciate any help you can give. And Zoe would love the company if you wanted to stop by and see her ❤️
