Be kind always. You never know

W
Story

I never thought I’d be the person asking strangers for help. For a long time, I worked hard, built things from the ground up, took care of the people I loved, and tried to be the person others could count on. Then life changed in ways I never expected. I lost a lot—my stability, my work, relationships, and the life I thought I knew. Right now, I’m trying to rebuild my life one day at a time. I’m not asking anyone to feel sorry for me. I’m asking for a little help getting back on my feet. If you’re able to give anything, even a few dollars, please know that it genuinely means something to me. It can help with the basic things that become incredibly difficult when you’re starting over—food, transportation, a safe place to sleep, and the everyday expenses that most people don't have to think twice about. But there’s another reason I made this page. I’ve learned the hard way that you never really know what someone else is going through. The person standing next to you in line, the guy sitting alone in his car, the person who looks like they have everything together—any one of them could be fighting a battle nobody else can see. That’s why I want to pay the kindness forward. I will donate 50% of everything I receive from this page to help someone else who needs it. I don't know who that person will be yet. Maybe it will be someone who needs a meal. Maybe someone who needs gas to get to work. Maybe it'll simply be somebody who needs to hear, “You're not alone.” If you can't donate, that's okay. Sharing this page, saying a kind word, or simply treating somebody a little better today still matters. I'm trying to believe that people can still take care of each other. So if you can help me get back on my feet, thank you. And if you can't, please just remember this: Be kind always. You never know what somebody is carrying. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
