In early March, Lisa Wells Franke was diagnosed with a brain tumor (glioblastoma), turning life upside down for her and her family in an instant. Lisa is an incredible wife to Ben Franke and mother to Brooke and Sydney, and anyone who knows their family knows how close they are. She has always been their biggest supporter, and this has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for them all. Lisa's journey has taken her through brain surgery, rehab and she has now transitioned to a home setting with her family. Many friends and loved ones have asked how they can help. This site has been created to support Lisa and her family with a meal train schedule and a visitor/support calendar to coordinate help that may be needed from Lisa's village of family and friends. Thank you for keeping Lisa, Ben, Brooke, Sydney, and their family in your thoughts and prayers. Lisa's family is requesting lunch or dinner options a couple of times a week in disposable containers. Variety is appreciated and family favorites include bbq, mexican, italian, and any old fashioned meat, potato and veggie options. Grocery gift cards to Schnucks and Whole Foods would be a great option for those unable to provide meals. Portions for a family of 4 would be appreciated.
