We been going back and forth on how to share this, but I wanted to be open about what’s been going on with me and our family. I was recently diagnosed with HER2-positive inflammatory ductal breast cancer. It’s a more aggressive type, but I’m thankful we finally have answers and a clear plan moving forward. I’ve started chemotherapy, with treatments every 3 weeks for a total of 6 rounds, along with targeted therapy. After that, I’ll need surgery, but we’ll know more about what that looks like once treatment is finished. My upcoming treatment dates are: • June 1 • June 22 • July 20 So many of you have reached out asking how you can help, and it truly means more than I can put into words. One of the biggest things that would help right now is meals—simple dinners on the harder days would take a huge weight off our shoulders. If it’s easier, gift cards to places like Amazon or Walmart for everyday essentials would also help so much while we navigate all of this.
