Comfort food for my father, sister and nephews

Wilmington, DE

Story

Its been 3 years of ups ans downs with our mom. What started as a stage 3 colon cancers diagnosis ended in a very agressive ALS diagnosis. Mom ultimately kicked cancers ass and did it with grace. She never complained about anything even when she didn't feel her greatest. Shortly after winning that battle mom was diagnosis with a rare form of ALS. More aggressive then your typical ALS it took away her ability to eat, to speak and do daily tasks. After years of being in and out the hospital, multiple surgeries our mother peacefully passed away with my father by her side. That final call came in yesterday evening and I am so so hopeful that our beautiful mom is in heaven talking, eating and doing all the things she couldn't in the past few months. This meal train is to help my father, younger sister and nephews get threw the next few weeks without mom.
