I started this page to send love and support to the Hirsch family after their devastating fire. On June 5th, Micah Hirsch was suddenly awakened by what he describes as an angel yelling at him in his sleep. He immediately saw smoke, and started yelling for his whole family to get out of the house! His wife, Jessica, their two daughters and son all ran out of the house unharmed with only what they were wearing when they went to bed that night. Micah desperately tried to expel the flames, until the fire department showed up. The heroes at the citrus county fire department was able to rescue the pets that remained in the house, and extinguish the flames before the whole house was gone. They now face one of the biggest challenges of their life. This wonderful family has worked so hard for the life they have, they have overcome their share of obstacles, they give everything they can to help others, and in the blink of an eye, their circumstances changed. They are the ones needing help. They would never ask for help on their own, and they are eternally grateful that they’re all alive and well even after all this. I only ask that we mirror their resolve and compassion, and give to them what they were always giving to their community. Thank you, angels!
