Hi everyone, as many of you know Sue is a beloved member of the Turner Elementary family. she is always a smiling face when the children come to the breakfast line or lunch room. and her grandson Luke that she raises is an amazing student in our district. what some may not know is that Sue has been battling cancer for a long time. Sue had beaten cancer before however this time things are a lot harder for her. She had a procedure done recently that has left her struggling to do everyday tasks like being able to cook for her family. Her husband who is still working full time and getting Luke to all of his extra curricular has been amazing in supporting Sue and cooking but I know Sue hates that he is working so hard and having to do so much. Sue has been greatly missed by staff and students for the majority of this school year. I would love help in showing her that we are here for her and how much we appreciate her.
