UPDATE June 1, 2026: Andrew is on his way home! No more drivers needed 🙂 **Needs will be added here as they arise. They have been well cared for and there isn’t any pressing items at this time. The family is very grateful for all of the support they have received. Thank you for your willingness to serve the Nagtegaal family through acts, deeds and prayer. On Tuesday, May 19, Andrew was involved in an accident while chaperoning the DCS Grade 11 hiking trip. A tree fell onto his tent, resulting in several broken bones and other injuries. He was airlifted to Victoria General where he has received excellent care and is showing improvement daily. The family is filled with gratitude for how their different communities have come together to support them. This page will serve to meet various needs that arise on the journey to Andrew’s recovery. The family has felt your prayers and witnessed God’s healing hand throughout this difficult time. Please continue to pray for full restoration of Andrew’s body, for Josie, Aliya, Jaxen and Austin.
