Nisha’s toddler was diagnosed with cancer at 3 years old, last year. He's had multiple long hospital stays during treatment. He's had to stay inpatient for 6-7 months with his initial diagnosis then another 1,3,2,2 months because treatment didn't work. He ended up having to get a bone marrow transplant and is still going through treatment. This has been an extremely difficult time for this family. Nisha has to drive over two hours and back, twice a week for treatment. They have lost so much throughout this and could potentially lose their home. They are lacking food and money for gas to travel to appointments.
