Andrew Myette was first diagnosed with Pancreatic Neuroendicrine Cancer back in 2011. There is no cure for this condition and recently it has become more aggressive and his treatments more invasive. This is a space where we are organizing the specific and concrete ways he and his wife, Christine, would welcome support. You can stay up-to-date on his life and musings on his Substack at: https://substack.com/@andrewmyette

Doctors recommend that Andrew eat 3-4 meals a day that should add up to approx. 60-80 grams total carbohydrates. His doctors would like him to get at least 120 grams of protein per day. Andrew would need to eat three 40g meals per day (or four 30g meals per day). Both animal proteins and animal fats have some of the best sources of vitamins A, D, E, and K2. We would prefer real whole foods over “low-carb food products” (i.e. low carb pasta, bread, tortillas, and other snacks). Anything can be served in a bowl. I regularly make fish tacos in a bowl, loaded bacon cheeseburgers in a bowl, and egg rolls in a bowl, etc…
