My parents never ask for help personally, and I know that with my mom’s upcoming surgery, things will be much harder for both of them. My mom will undergo a mastectomy surgery on December 10th in her battle against breast cancer, and I know my dad won’t want to leave her alone unless he has to. I’ve started this initiative to help take the burden off his shoulders and assist him in figuring out what to eat during this challenging time. Our small family will do our best we can to help as well but between us both working during the day, a toddler, and our special needs guy, we will gladly accept any assistance we can get to ensure that my parents are taken care of.
