Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of Daniel, who passed away after his journey with cancer at just 50 years old. Daniel was a beloved husband, father, family member, and friend. He leaves behind his wife, Deana, and their son, William, as well as so many family members and friends whose lives were made better simply by knowing him. Daniel was the kind of person who showed up for the people he loved. He brought intelligence, humor, warmth, and a steady presence to the lives around him. Above all, he treasured his family. Becoming William’s father was one of the greatest joys of his life, and the love he had for his son was unmistakable. Now, Deana and William are facing a loss that no family should ever have to navigate. There are no perfect words for this kind of grief, and there is no way to make this season easier. But we can surround them with love and help carry some of the everyday burdens while they grieve. This meal calendar is one small way we can show up for Deana and William.
