Julie is one of the kindest , most caring and giving women you will ever meet. Over the years she’s always the one to make sure everyone else is fed, supported, loved and made whole, all while being a single mom to two beautiful girls. Unfortunately cancer does not discriminate , as she was diagnosed with breast cancer a month ago and now will begin the hardest journey of her life. Julie is a fighter. In the truest sense of the word, she’s a newly minted blue belt in Krav Maga so she is no stranger to challenges. Her family is in Hawaii so she will need to rely on her village here in CT. The cost of cancer isn’t just the treatment, it’s the time off of work, the daycare, the utilities, the rent, gas, groceries. Meals all of it.
