Supporting Brown Family

Story

6/28/2025 Right now, doctors believe there's a chance the tumor is the only area affected. If that's the case, surgery may be the only treatment Danny will need. The biggest question now is whether the cancer has spread to his lymph nodes. If it has, he'll face six months of chemotherapy after surgery. At this point, doctors are calling it Stage 3, but they're hopeful they'll find less cancer than expected once surgery begins. Danny's surgery is scheduled for July 2, and we're asking everyone to join us in praying that his lymph nodes are clear. The surgery itself will be extensive. Because the tumor has grown into the wall of his colon, this won't be a minimally invasive procedure. He'll be left with a significant scar—but as Danny says, he'd much rather have a scar than cancer. More than anything, we ask for your prayers. We're also facing an overwhelming financial burden. Danny has already been unable to work for the past two weeks, and even in the best-case scenario, he won't be able to return until the end of July. Without medical insurance, the expenses are staggering. The first hospital bill alone is $167,000, and there are many more medical bills still to come. On top of those costs, the family is struggling to cover everyday living expenses while Danny is unable to work and traveling to appointments. If you feel led to help, any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward medical bills, living expenses, and helping ease the burden during this incredibly difficult season. If you're unable to give financially, your prayers, encouragement, and sharing this fundraiser mean more than words can express. Thank you for loving, supporting, and walking alongside Danny and his family. Your kindness is giving them hope during one of the hardest chapters of their lives. 6/17/2025 Many of you know and love the Brown family, and we wanted to share an update and ask for your prayers and support during a very difficult time. Danny was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. This news has come as a shock to the entire family, and they are still waiting on additional test results and appointments to determine the full treatment plan. What they do know at this point is that Danny will need surgery soon, hopefully as early as next week. As they navigate the many doctor appointments, tests, and upcoming surgery, we'd love to help ease some of the burden. Because their schedule will be unpredictable and they aren't sure when they will be home, we've decided that gift cards for meals and groceries would be the most helpful way to support them right now. Anyone who knows the Browns knows that accepting help does not come easily for them. However, so many people have reached out asking, "What can we do." We've lovingly taken the decision out of their hands and created this opportunity to bless them during this challenging season. For now, we are focusing on meal and grocery gift cards. Depending on future needs, we may also set up a GoFundMe at a later date. Most importantly, please keep Danny, his family, his medical team, and everyone involved in your prayers. Your love, encouragement, and support mean more than words can express. Thank you for caring for the Browns during this difficult journey. We will continue to share updates as we receive them. With Love, Kelsi Webber
