On January 27th, 2023 our world was turned upside down when our beloved baby Roger (4 months) was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. By January 28th, 2023 Roger was already undergoing surgery to receive a central port to start him on chemo in the next 48 hours. This treatment is expected to take the next 6-12 months and the family will be in and out of the hospital during that time, living in their small hospital room. Sophie will be taking an unpaid leave for the foreseeable future from her teaching job at SFUSD. We're so touched that so many of you have inquired about how you can help and where you can donate. Rob and Sophie are so grateful for their village willing to step in and provide a lift, so that they can focus on Roger's healing process.
