William and Sandra Robertson

I would like to introduce you to my Aunt and Uncle, William and Sandra (Sandy) Robertson. My uncle was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019 and beat it and became cancer free something we rejoiced and praised God for. Cancer being as it is came back with a vengeance and he now has MDS bone marrow cancer. He is fighting it with the strength, dignity, faith, praise, and worship. Worship you say? Yes worship and has done nothing but pray and worship since being diagnosed. He has NEVER given up hope for his ultimate healing. He has prayed, served and not given up that God will yet again heal him. As we along with him pray for his complete healing and recovery from this nasty disease. He is now in the hospital yet again fighting but also fighting off E. coli and being septic. One of the reasons we come to you today is they will not ask for help or anything like that. They work together and always doing for there selves, but there comes a time when all you need is rest and not the worry of the every day. We know times are hard right now and just the hustle of every day but we wanted to reach out not only to the Community but to Our church families to Our praying people, our people of faith and anyone that just believes. We asked that you join us, HIM, in prayer keep him lifted up and my Aunt as she has devoted to nothing but taking care of him full-time, she is at his side every minute of every day, praying and begging God to touch him to give him peace and comfort. To try and help not only are we asking for prayers, but to see if anyone will be willing to help with a meal, a HOT meal for Her or them whatever you feel led to do. You know Hospital food is not only expensive but sometimes when you’re finally able to get something to eat, things are closed or you’re only option is a cold tray or you’re just so tired the thought of even trying to get you something or make yourself something it’s not gonna happen. Also to note he has to go to UAB every Monday and Thursday for blood and platelets and the other days they are at the Big DCH for more labs and sometimes more blood and platelets. They are not in and out visit. They are all day from before the sun comes up to after the sun is setting and even after, so we just come to you about setting up a day for a meal whether it’s a hot meal. Or a gift card for a meal or a DoorDash meal so if he is really bad, she doesn’t have to worry about leaving his side. We appreciate everything and all the prayers at this time.
