The wonderful Rachel Mutch can use our support right now! Rachel was diagnosed with a brain tumor in March. It is a skull-based tumor adjacent to hearing, facial nerves, and venous sinuses that has to be removed due to size, symptoms, and location by critical structures. Her surgery is April 9. Rachel and all of us who love her are hoping for full removal of the tumor without damage to other areas. Rachel will spend 7 days in the hospital post surgery and will have 8 weeks of recovery. She won’t be able to do much or drive during those 8 weeks and will have many follow-up visits with her medical team. Anyone that knows Rachel knows what a beautiful mother, wife, friend, elementary school teacher and travel advisor she is. Rachel gives of herself generously, always willing to help others and brings joy to all who know her. This will be a long recovery and she will need to take a long time off of work. Let’s make her recovery a little bit easier by bringing her dinner or providing grocery gift cards so she can order groceries. Uber gift cards will also be helpful as she won’t be able to drive.
