My friend is a single mom who has been facing an incredibly difficult stretch. Recently, my friend has been in and out of the hospital, all while trying to keep up with everyday responsibilities at home. Through it all, my friend has done everything possible to stay on top of bills by making minimum payments on the power bill. Unfortunately, interest has continued to build, and the balance has now risen beyond reasonable means . She has a full time job this is leaving my friend in a position where it can no longer be managed alone. Right now, my friend is at risk of having the power shut off, adding even more stress to an already overwhelming situation. This fundraiser is to help my friend get into a low-income payment agreement, defer the current balance, and make future payments more manageable. That support would provide immediate relief and help bring some stability during a time of serious medical and financial hardship. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean so much, and even sharing this fundraiser could make a real difference.
