❤️ **Rallying Around Baby Will & Family** ❤️ Our sweet baby Will and his family need all the love, prayers, and support we can give right now! Will is currently hospitalized after developing a serious E. coli infection that has led to a rare complication called Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS).HUS is a serious condition that damages small blood vessels, particularly in the kidneys, and can cause kidney failure, low platelet counts, and the destruction of red blood cells. Unfortunately, HUS has significantly affected his kidney function, and he is currently receiving dialysis to help his body do what his kidneys are unable to do on their own right now. The road ahead is not an easy one. Recovery from HUS can be a lengthy and unpredictable process, involving continued dialysis, close medical monitoring, and ongoing care as his little body works toward healing. While we are praying for a full recovery, there are still many unknowns, and his family is taking things one day at a time. As you can imagine, having a baby hospitalized with such a serious condition is emotionally, physically, and financially overwhelming. Between time away from work, meals at the hospital, gas, travel expenses, and everyday necessities, the financial burden can quickly add up. ❤️ We want to come together as a community and help ease some of these burdens so this family can focus on what matters most — being by their sweet boy’s side as he fights to get better.
