Help Support Kelly from Recent Surgeries & Time away from Work

Story

If you know Kelly, you know she’s the kind of person who can make anyone laugh. She’s funny, kind, caring, and always willing to lend a hand when someone needs it. She’s the type of person who puts others first, which is why so many people have been asking how they can help her now. While playing volleyball with friends, she suffered a devastating ankle injury, breaking it in two places. She was taken to Abbott, where she underwent surgery to repair the fractures. She now has five pins in her ankle and will be completely non-weight-bearing for at least the next eight weeks, with a long road of healing and rehabilitation ahead. This comes just after she had finally returned to work following double carpal tunnel surgeries and complications from an infection after her first surgery. Just when it felt like life was getting back to normal, she’s been faced with another unexpected setback. I wanted to create this page for anyone who has been asking how they can help during her recovery. Since she will be unable to work for the next couple of months, the financial burden of medical bills and everyday expenses will continue even while she heals. I’ve also included ways to sign up to bring a meal, send a gift card, offer help with errands, or simply leave a message of encouragement. Every act of kindness—whether it’s a meal, a donation, a prayer, or a kind message—will make a difference. Thank you for supporting such an amazing friend during this difficult time and helping lighten the load while she focuses on healing.

Special Notes

Kelly is diabetic, so please be aware of that if doing any kind of food related items or meal kits for her!
