On May 3rd, Lydia’s sister Lydie went into cardiac arrest. She has since been moved to another facility where doctors have determined she is in a vegetative state. Lydie did not have a power of attorney, so Ludia has petitioned the court to obtain guardianship of her sister. This has been and will be an ongoing process for Ludia. In the meantime, she is making all health related decisions for her sister which has been incredibly challenging. She has also been responsible for coordinating and sharing information with her family. She has not had a lot of time for cooking, cleaning, and other regular household maintenance. It would be nice if we could all help send love and support Ludia’s way
