Story

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.“ In May of 2026, my mom, the hero of my life, entered the hospital not feeling well. Come to find out she had a tumor on her kidney. After months of in and out of the hospital, 3 surgeries and 4 falls, she is back home. Against our will and efforts, the health care system could no longer meet her needs in rehabilitation or the hospital. Our family has been night and day taking care of her house, animals, and everything of her basic needs. She’s tired and it’s time we ask the community for some assistance. We love each and every one of you, and are asking if you could make a meal, wash the dishes, fold the laundry. However, more importantly, human connection. Living alone, and temporarily losing your independence is more heart wrenching than you know until you see it happen to yourself or your loved ones. Right now, company and community means everything. If you find it in your heart and your schedule, please sign up for a visit, or a meal. It would mean so much to us all. Love and Peace 🤍 Katie
