Hello folks both near and far. I am reaching out because we need your help. Most of you know the scary medical journey I have been on this Summer, which is now hopefully ending with a major surgery and a hernia repair. Many of you have been with me as I have been suffering these past couple of years and not feeling myself. I just simply chalked it up to peri-menopause. Boy was I wrong! I have journeyed through Anemia, Fibroids, cysts, and by sheer accident, found out I have been walking around with a hernia, which they caught on a x-ray scan looking for cancer (which, thank God I do not have) while I was in the hospital "celebrating" my birthday. My surgery is coming up on November 24th, and will be taking medical leave from work for a few weeks to heal. Cormac requires much effort on my part as it is, and I hope that during my healing process, you can help me with meals, or anything else you think would help with Cormac care as I will not be my physical self for a bit. We live here alone in Seattle, still in the process of building resources and supports, and so we ask that you help us during this time. Not worrying about food and planning meals for us, would be so amazingly helpful!
