Caring for the Bouillon Family

Our friends, The Bouillon Family, are navigating an in incredibly long and difficult season as they spend extended time in the hospital with their son, Theo. Theo went in for Spinal Fusion & Growth Rod Implant Surgery on July 28th and the surgery did not go well or as planned. During the procedure the surgeon was only able to do some bone work and some releases before he lost electrical signal to Theo's legs. The surgery was stopped and Theo immediately had an MRI which showed his spinal stenosis has significantly worsened since his last MRI in February. Theo spent some recovery time post-surgery at OKC Children's and is now in-patient at Bethany Children's Hospital as he completes therapy to regain strength and mobility before going back in for his originally scheduled surgery - or possibly a different approach/surgery. His estimated time to be in-patient at Bethany Children's is around 6-8 weeks. We know so many people LOVE this family big time and want to help, but when life is turned upside down, it's hard to know what would actually be helpful and make a difference. So, we've created this page as a simple way for our community to come alongside them and show them love in practical ways while meeting needs. There a lots of ways to help - from bringing a home cooked meal, mowing their lawn, to sitting with Theo to play a game so that mom & dad can step away for some time together for a little while. Some needs are practical, some are financial, and some are simply opportunities for us to remind them they aren't walking through this alone. Thank you for loving them well!
