Supporting the Prestons

Altoona, PA

Story

As many of you know, my dad, Edward Preston, is retiring after 39 years of ministry. What you may not know is that just two weeks after he and my mom move into their forever home, he’ll be undergoing surgery to have a kidney removed. That gives them only a short window to unpack, get settled, and prepare for this major procedure. While my mom will be by his side to support him during recovery, there will still be some things they’ll need help with. My brother and sister-in-law live nearby but won’t be able to assist as much as they’d like, and I live three hours away. With that in mind, I’ve created this page in the hope that some of you might be willing to sign up to bring them a meal or help with other small needs as they arise. They may not be up for visitors, so we’ll be setting up a designated drop-off spot on their front porch. They’ll be able to let folks know if and when they’re ready for company. Our family is deeply grateful for any support you’re able to offer. We know how much my parents have given to others over the years, and we truly appreciate your kindness in this season of transition. Thank you so much!

Special Notes

Please try to keep it lower carb, and no garlic. Thanks!
