Jennifer, a dear friend, is scheduled to undergo a shunt removal procedure in hopes of helping manage complications related to hydrocephalus stemming from Chiari Malformation. Following surgery, she will spend several days in the ICU as she begins recovery. During this time, her husband will be at home caring for her and their children.
