Story

Approximately 3 weeks ago Jacob went into the hospital with necrotizing pancreatitis and a bowel perforation. He has undergone a very extensive surgery where a large portion of his colon was removed along with part of his pancreas and appendix. He also has a had a few other surgeries along with that. He is fighting as hard as he can to heal and get home to his family. It doesn't get any more major than what he is going through. It's a very up and down journey with each day bringing improvements in some areas and challenges in others. He has quite a long road ahead. There is no date for his release from the hospital at this time. We are thankful for his care team at the hospital as they are taking great care of him and we as a family put all of our faith in the ultimate healer, our Lord and Savior. While we can't physically do much for Jacob, he needs all of the love and prayers he can get. The hospital is about 40 min one way from their home and Jackie makes that trip almost daily. All of the financial responsibility plus caring for their family is solely on her at this time. Jacob and Jackie have 4 kids. 1 in college, 1 on his way to college in a couple of weeks, a 9 year old, and a 5 year old. I can tell you first hand she never stops! She is an amazing mom and wife! There are multiple ways to give if you're able. Gift cards can be bought and the cash app and venmo go directly to her. I will update the page if I find out there are other needs or ways we can help. Help me show my family love and support through this difficult time. If you can't give anything, that's fine. Please pray. <3
