Bobby has always been the kind of person who knows how to show up. He makes room for people, listens closely, lends a hand without being asked and built his life around the family and people he loves. He is quietly steady, endlessly capable and happiest when there is time for family, the outdoors and a little fun along the way. Cancer has a way of narrowing life quickly, shifting schedules, energy and priorities almost overnight. This page is simply a way for us to help carry some of the weight in this season for Bobby and Kim. Whether it is a meal, groceries, a chat, help around the house or filling in a gap we may not see coming, this gives us a place to coordinate and move into action together. For now, the goal is simply to keep Bobby and Kim supported, keep spirits high and help make room for the steady moments that can carry them through this next chapter and, hopefully, back to the beach and the life they love.
Some dietary notes: He needs fruits, veggies and foods without spice. He enjoys meals similar to a bowl you might get at Chipotle, with a protein, rice and beans. He likes kolaches, fried rice and sushi. As his appetite is coming back recently, he's enjoying tostadas, tacos with guacamole, mashed potatoes, chicken pot pie and dumplings.
