Angela Matos has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Angie's Army food train has been created to help take the stress off of the family when it comes to meals during Angie’s chemo treatment. If anyone would like to volunteer to drop off meals or donate to their go fund me account it would take a huge physical and financial stress off the family. All go fund me donations will go directly to the family to aid with groceries, bills, etc. There is also another way to donate towards Angie’s family vacation to celebrate her when she finishes chemo or to purchase a shirt in support. *UPDATE: Aug 16** Angie is currently in the hospital, her family is very appreciative and is not picky! Please don’t feel obligated to follow the suggested meal accommodations at this time. ** As of now, Angie’s diet consists of mostly fruits and cooked vegetables. No greasy, fried, or high sugar foods as that may irritate the pancreas. No pork, red meat or raw vegetables. Baked, grilled or boiled lean meats such as chicken, turkey and fish are best for her. Soups are a go to favorite for Angie. Her doctor suggested following a diet as if she has pancreatitis, this may help if you need to Google ideas.
