Angie’s Army Food Train

Adairsville, GA

W
Story

Angela Matos has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Angie's Army food train has been created to help take the stress off of the family when it comes to meals during Angie’s chemo treatment. If anyone would like to volunteer to drop off meals or donate to their go fund me account it would take a huge physical and financial stress off the family. All go fund me donations will go directly to the family to aid with groceries, bills, etc. There is also another way to donate towards Angie’s family vacation to celebrate her when she finishes chemo or to purchase a shirt in support. See link below. https://www.bonfire.com/angies-army160/

Special Notes

While none of the kids have dietary restrictions, they are sensitive to spicy food. Eric is diabetic, so a diabetic friendly meal would be best. As of now, Angie’s diet consists of mostly fruits and cooked vegetables. No greasy, fried, or high sugar foods as that may irritate the pancreas. No pork, red meat or raw vegetables. Baked, grilled or boiled lean meats such as chicken, turkey and fish are best for her. Soups are a go to favorite for Angie. Her doctor suggested following a diet as if she has pancreatitis, this may help if you need to Google ideas.
