Service will be live streamed on the 12th. Follow the link at the bottom of her Obituary (to be posted a few days before). Dear Family and Friends: As we move towards memorializing this page our updates will slow down. I am leaving as much intact as possible. Thank you for being with us during our walk. The paragraphs below are from the original page: JoAnn was diagnosed with breast cancer nearly sixteen years ago. Her journey began fighting her disease with multiple surgeries followed by chemotherapy. Six years after her first diagnosis we again found her cancer had returned. Again, her treatments included chemotherapy followed by radiation. A third recurrence in 2017 found the disease had spread to various places in her body. More chemotherapy was done to stop the spread. Most recently she has been fighting tumors in her brain. This summer, after medicines lost their efficacy, her last option was to have a surgery to remove tumors in her cerebellum. This resulted in a lengthy hospital stay (ICU) followed by weeks of rehabilitation. Once again, JoAnn has earned the labels "Amazing" and "Inspirational" to all of us who love her. She will continue to need our support as she undergoes treatments again and continues her rehabilitation.
If someone you know wants information on JoAnn's condition please forward this page to them so they can get our updates. It's an easy registration of an email address..... We want to get JoAnn healthy and strong for the next step in her battle against this relentless cancer. Please try to provide healthy and nutritious meals. JoAnn enjoys just about all types of food but avocado does not agree with her. Andy does not eat tentacles or anything that is still moving. Currently due to difficulty with dizziness and nausea we are not requesting any meals. Thank you all so much.
