Story
Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2018. She underwent surgical removal of the tumor, had a Savvy implant, completed targeted radiation, and started a new medication regime. In February 2024, her medical team discovered cancer in the same breast. The plan was to do a mastectomy, after an exploratory PET scan. The results of the scan showed metastatic bone disease in her back, hips, legs, lungs, arms, collar bone, shoulder, jaw and skull. By definition, this cancer is terminal. Abbey is Michelle's primary caregiver, and she continues to work full time. As Michelle's care needs increase, doing this alone is simply not sustainable. I am in awe of ALL those who love Michelle ~ and refer to her support as her "hive" for this queen bee. So.. "Michelle's Hive," I'm asking for your help. This is MUCH BIGGER than any of us have ever been through before and ANY kind of support offered would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thank you all for your prayers and support! - Jeannette Sale (Michelle's sister)
Special Notes
Abbey's only request is that any meals given do NOT have tuna! 😉
