Most of you know our little village — the mom group at Fordline that somehow turned into family- my literal sisters who have walked through life with me. Yesterday, we lost one of our dads suddenly and far too soon. He was only 35, and it doesn’t feel real to even type that. As adults, we’re still trying to process how life can change in an instant. But our biggest heartbreak is for Staci and her babies — for a wife who lost her soulmate/partner, and for children who lost their dad way too early. This man wasn’t just a dad in our group. He was a friend, a constant presence, someone our kids grew up alongside and looked up to. He mattered deeply to all of us, and his absence is already felt in ways we can’t put into words. I know times are hard, and it is the holiday season, but we have a mom in our community who needs us right now. She is having to navigate the worst scenario possible and can use all of the help we can give. We also currently have a GoFundMe going for this family. We are also starting this meal train to help ease the burden so Staci and the kids can focus on grieving, healing, and simply surviving this unimaginable loss. If you’re able to donate, share, or keep this family in your thoughts and prayers, it would mean more than we can express. Thank you for loving our village the way we do.
